I was proud to initiate and bring forward the City Council's first Proclamation. I stand proudly with women and birthing people and their right to privacy and bodily autonomy.
"I believe in science. COVID is real. Masks & vaccines work. Love is love and love always wins. Abortion is healthcare and healthcare is a human right. And Black Lives Matter."

I am endorsing Jennifer Munro to continue as Westbrook City Councilor. I believe Jen will help Westbrook continue it’s strong and positive growth. Jen recognizes human rights for all and is very involved in the community. Jen has been a strong advocate for reproductive healthcare and privacy rights due to the recent Supreme Court ruling. Jen is a strong advocate for children. Having her apart of the City Council brings a lot of knowledge and passion and it’s essential to continuing to grow as a community.

One of the best parts about living in a city like Westbrook is how many people are committed to their community. Neighbors helping neighbors is not just something we say it is something we do. Jennifer Munro embodies this trait and encourages others to do the same. She is a leader in her work around diversity, equity and inclusion, and access to reproductive care. Her recent proposal for the Westbrook City Council states that the city “stands with all people and their right to access safe and affordable healthcare, including all aspects of reproductive health”. Jennifer is enthusiastic and engaged in all things Westbrook and has been a great addition to the Westbrook City Council!

I believe that Jennifer Munro delivers a diverse perspective to the city council that adds incredible value to the citizens of Westbrook. In my opinion, her stance on equal rights, women's health & keeping people safe based on science is exactly what this community needs to continue to thrive and grow. I believe that she is the best candidate to be re-elected to the ward 5 seat and will continue to help Westbrook be the best community for all their constituents.
